- GMS began operations in 1994 with Medha
Patel as being the founder member
- GMS was primarily engaged
in Telecom installations, LAN/WAN operations
support for cellular carriers.
- Since 1999 , it diversified with its
prime focus only on Telecom and wireless
companies like Verizon Wireless, AT&T
( then Cingular) and Sprint Nextel.
- 1999 - Signed Master
Service Contract with Verizon Wireless
and became approved vendor for them.
- GMS has diversified and gained expertise
in Mobile Telephone Switching Office (MTSO)
systems integration and Cell sites engineering.
- 2004 - Executed a project
involving remote monitoring of LRCS devises
with Verizon Wireless covering compote
IL and WI market.
- Became registered partners with Cisco
systems, one of key companies and backbone
for all telecom works.
- 2006 - In further expansion
plans, signed a master contract with AT&T and
have been working with them since 2006
for network Optimization and transport
project.
- Did collaborative projects with DePaul
University and provided for Cisco
Certification Training labs.
- 2009 - expanding further
into telecom projects and new technologies
like RF engineering and Wi-Fi.
