Description |
|
Digivance LRCS is an all-digital RF distribution system that optically transports RF signals to difficult coverage areas such as tunnels, canyons, large open structures such as stadiums, and congested city center locations. One point-to-point RF transport link consists of a host unit, remote unit, and element management software. Digivance LRCS Host Unit is typically rack-mounted at the base transceiver station (BTS) site or collocated with other host units at a centralized radio suite. |
|
Additionally Digivance EMS can simultaneously monitor a network of Digivance LRCS links by daisy-chaining the alarm interfaces of up to 24 Digivance LRCS Host Units. In addition, off-site functionality is accomplished through a terminal at the (NOC). According to ADC you have to put EMS PC at cell site, where LRCS host units are located but GMS design this topology using Cisco router in such a way that EMS PC are at Switch (MTSO), so a person, who is in charge of monitoring can easily monitor the connectivity to LRCS, changes the parameter of LRCS and a cell-tech can monitor LRCS from any where in carrier network. |

GMS has deployed Cisco 3662 and Cisco 2651XM router to accomplish this project.
Including setup of Stargazer server at MTSO, this includes setting up
EMS software on HP d530 Platform which also require some additional JAVA runtime
Version including V1.3 and 1.4. All this Desktop level work is done on Windows 2000
Server and Windows XP client. |
| Features |
