Britecell plus from Andrew is the low power Distributed Antenna System (DAS) for wireless network, capable of transporting frequency from 800 MHz to 2500 MHz, from traditional cellular signals to wireless LAN. The system has local Subrack and a remote unit. Subrack is collocated with Base Station. Subrack is connected to remote unit vie single mode fiber cable.
ISCO RF2 is Echo Canceller for RF Traffic from ISCO International; Echo Canceller is used by wireless carriers to describe the process of removing Echo from voice communication in order to improve voice quality.
Wireless carriers has deployed number of DAS and Echo Canceller over different places, Monitoring these Distributed Antenna System and Echo Canceller for number of site is big challenge for wireless carriers, as physically going to remote site for monitoring is not recommended way. GMS has design the solution using Cisco Router for monitoring these DAS and Echo Canceller at Central Site (MTSO) by bringing all the data to the MTSO and by running NMS Application for monitoring. This gives the facility to monitor all different systems at MTSO by installing single Server running NMS Application.
